Why we built it

Small businesses were locked out ofthe data and AI revolution

InnerMind was started with the idea that small and mid-sized businesses are locked out of the data and AI revolution. We want all companies, no matter the size, to run their businesses as efficiently as possible using what they already have, because when they can, the playing field levels. We have one mission: to help you see what a company ten times your size would already know.

Your data is already all around you

Imagine that your data is all around you, in that email to a customer, in that chat conversation with sales, in the meeting transcript of a planning session. All of that is real data. These are the locations where solutions can be found.

That email to a customer

Messages, threads and everything attached to them

That chat conversation with sales

One-to-one and group conversations, wherever your team talks

The transcript of a planning session

Meeting notes, recordings and transcripts

The contract nobody re-read

Contracts, agreements, terms, renewals and obligations

The report that sat in a folder

Reports, spreadsheets, board packs, plans and presentations

The ledger behind all of it

Financial records: cash, P&L and balance sheet

You can't physically pull them all in and sort through them. InnerMind is that helper.

Not a folder that stores them, but a reader that goes through them.InnerMind reads the wording of the clause, not the name of the file. The substance of the thread, not the fact that a thread exists. Most of what changes a business shows up in prose long before it shows up in a number, which is exactly the part a reporting tool cannot see.

The AI explains. It doesn't decide.

This one is worth being precise about, because "we use AI" has stopped meaning anything. InnerMind learns what normal looks like for your business from your own history, and the detection and the ranking are ordinary arithmetic: repeatable, auditable, the same answer twice.

The language model is used at the end, to turn a result into a sentence you can read. It is not the thing deciding what matters. That is why every signal cites the data it came from: a recommendation you cannot check is just a confident guess, and you should not run a business on one.

But that requires trust. This platform will pull only what you allow it.

You connect each source yourself, one at a time, and you can disconnect any of them whenever you want. Nothing is taken because it happened to be reachable.

WE NEVER TRAIN ON YOUR DATA.

Your data is always yours alone.

Not ours, and not a vendor's. The models run on AWS Bedrock inside our own AWS account, so your contracts and financials are never handed to a consumer AI service. Everything is encrypted with AWS KMS, every record and every retrieval is scoped to your account alone, enforced at the database level and tested on every deploy, and you can delete all of it at any time.

The privacy policy names every company that touches your data, because a promise you can't check is not one.

What we do with it

What we do is offer you a unique way to understand what's really happening in your business, with proven methods and insights tailored to you and only about you.

In practice that is a short list, not a dashboard: the few things that changed since yesterday, ranked by what each one is worth to you, each explained in a sentence with the next step attached. The proven methods are the ones operators have used for decades: Five Forces, 80/20, moat and bottleneck, applied to your business rather than to a case study. And when you commit to an action, InnerMind follows up on whether it worked, because advice nobody checks is just opinion.

Tailored to you and only about you is the part we mean most literally. Where InnerMind does compare you to an industry, and it does, so you can tell whether a number is normal for your kind of business, those figures come from a curated industry reference, not from other customers' data. Nothing you connect makes anyone else's answers better. It is your business, read carefully, and nobody else's.
